MEET MICHAEL

Born and raised in Arlington, TN, Michael D. Pryor has spent his life serving Shelby County and the country with integrity, discipline, and a commitment to justice. His career in public service spans over three decades and includes roles as a United States Army Reserve veteran, U.S. Marshals Task Force Officer, Retired Sergeant with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, and currently, a Criminal Investigator with the Federal Government.

Throughout his 30+ years in law enforcement, Michael worked his way through the ranks from patrol deputy to leading the elite Fugitive Apprehension Team. His approach to public safety has always centered on collaboration, accountability, and respect for every member of the community. Michael is also a proud father, mentor, and lifelong Tennessean who believes that true safety comes from leadership that listens, protects, and serves with the people, not just for them.
